Germanium sourcing
Tell Arch Point Resources which germanium material your process needs, the specification it must meet and where it will be delivered. Metal feedstock, a chemical compound and a finished optical component require different qualification information.
Sourcing inquiry — price and availability on request. No stock volume, origin, grade or shipment date is represented as confirmed. Any offer must identify the actual material and its supporting documentation.
Send a specification that can be quoted
| Item | Information to include |
|---|---|
| Product form | Identify metal, oxide, crystal, optical blank or another exact form |
| Intended application | Describe the industrial process and required performance |
| Acceptance criteria | Purity and impurities; for components, dimensions and application-specific tests |
| Quantity | Initial requirement, units, sample size and expected repeat demand |
| Traceability | Required lot records, origin information, assay method and sample procedure |
| Delivery | Destination, date, packaging and delivery basis |
Where an optical blank or finished component is needed, include the drawing and technical acceptance criteria. A headline metal assay does not replace the component specification. Where a chemical compound is needed, identify that compound rather than using “germanium” alone.
Have germanium-bearing material to offer?
Describe the material, its processing history, quantity, location and ownership or selling authority. Provide existing assay records and state how the sample relates to the lot. A potential recycling or refining route requires a separate technical and commercial assessment; a metal-content estimate is not a guaranteed payable yield.
Read how to specify germanium and compare offers before requesting a quote. The guide covers product form, evidence, samples and a complete delivered-cost comparison.

FAQ
Is there a confirmed germanium lot available?
This is a sourcing inquiry page. A specific lot, quantity and availability must be confirmed in the resulting offer.
Does high chemical purity establish optical suitability?
No. An optical application also needs its own material and component requirements. Agree the relevant tests and acceptance criteria before buying.
Can a seller submit scrap or manufacturing residues?
A seller can describe the material for assessment. Acceptance, recoverable yield and any refining route are subject to evaluation; no recovery service is promised here.
